How to Use Keyboard as Mouse in Windows

Recently my Mouse Stopped Working because of Drivers got corrupted; Due to this Problem i was not able to use my mouse. I tried every possible Solution like uninstalling drivers and restarting my PC. Unplugging and then plugin my mouse back, and yeah Searched internet too, since i was not able to use my mouse, i had to Use Keyboard as Mouse While Finding for solution to this Problem.
Windows OS has an Inbuilt option Called MouseKeys, Not much people are aware of it but yes now you are.  You can Enable/disable and disable MouseKeys very easily.
  • You can enable it by Pressing Alt + Shift + Numlock   keys. As soon as you do it, you will be prompt with the below dialog box, Just Click Yes to it.

  • Make Sure your Numlock is off while you Use keyboard as mouse.
  • Done!!! Now you will see MouseKeys icon on your task bar, which means now you are all set.
  • Now talking about the Controllers, Use 8, 2, 4 and 6 Keys from Numpad to move Up, Down, Left and Right Respectively.

Alternatively you can also use Third Party Program Called NeatMouse , This software is portable, Main advantage to use it is it gives you better Control because of additional options that it makes available. it have an option to Remap Controller keys according to your Comfort.

Probably we will have to Use Keyboard as Mouse temporarily and not for long time so one may not prefer to get third party software for this task, but many may do it as it is free and can be helpful.

Why We Can't Create Con Folder in Windows?

A Reason behind Why We Can’t Create Specific Folders in Windows
Most of us are aware, we can't create a folder with name "Con" in windows and all most many of us don't know the reason.
Well I tell you the reason and list of keywords which we can't use in windows to create folders or file.
Reason:
We cannot create folder with con, aux, nul because these are reserved keywords used by DOS. So if we were allowed to create such folders than there will be an ambiguity, in where to write data when the data is supposed to; go to the specified devices.

Keywords and Their corresponding Functions:

Reserved Keywords
Function
CON
Keyboard and Display
PRN
System list device, usually a parallel port
AUX
Auxiliary Device, usually a serial port
NUL
Bit-Bucket Device
A:-Z:
Drive Letter
COM1

Use Laptop at Night With Ease For Eyes

Many of us are habitual of using laptops till late at night and we often don’t care about sleepy eyes. I myself feel much tired at moments when my laptop clock tells me that “It’s 2am” but since I am a computer enthusiast so often things are at zenith for me during laptop usage. Thus, as a result being so much curious about any thing which I am trying to develop over my laptop I never ever think to close the lid of laptop and take some rest for sake of my eyes. Since as per my opinion LED’s of modern laptops are not of that much harm to our eyes as compared to those traditional monitors which had those big picture tubes. However, still a rest of few minutes for the care of eyes is necessary instead of using laptop continuously without looking at the surroundings.
So, What to do when you are tired and still you want to use the laptop without the fear of looking at burning sun while sitting in the dark. I have a cool solution here in terms of a cool and handy software.
Flux – Software to make your life better:
I have been using this software since long time. This application has proved to safe my life a lot in conditions when I am feeling uneasy to look at my laptop screen because of the brightness. I don’t use this software for 24 hours, rather I just enable it for the time when I don’t feel satisfactory with the blue light being emitted from the LED screen of my laptop. This blue bright light is really irritating for me when I am tired and also at the same time I need to do more work.
You can download this software. After that just install it and it will detect your area of living automatically and if it doesn’t detect that, then kindly provide your area from the settings of this software.
This software just makes the display of your screen more warmer and you feel more comfortable.
If you are doing color sensitive job then kindly tick the “Disable for one hour” to disable the application so that your display may again show original colors instead of warmer one.

Few Tips on How to gain self confidence

Human makes mistakes throughout their lives but how they overcome those mistakes increases their self-confidence.  Self-confidence is in build phenomena but very few people capitalize on it and gain more however many others show them on the mercy of this world and are never successful.

1. Combination of self-esteem and self-efficacy:

In the context of how to gain self confidence, the concepts of self-esteem- and self-efficacy are pretty important to understand. When you know your core competencies, and believe in yourself (self-esteem) and have the capability to accomplish something in life (self-efficacy), self- confidence is increased to many folds.  As said earlier, with low self- efficacy and self-esteem, believe in oneself is decreased and with low self-confidence, one is not able to achieve goals and contribute anything towards life.

2. How to gain self confidence:

So does it mean that self-confidence is in built and can’t be gained or raised? No absolutely not, self-confidence can be increased with the help of counseling and changing little thinking processes. In this article, we are going to study few ways which can help anyone gain self- confidence and thus achieve all the desired goals in life:-

3. Think Positive:

See the glass half full, not half empty. Yes if anyone ask you how to gain self confidence, ask this adage and then say “think positive”. At times, we listen no, I can’t, I won’t, and I am unable types of voices from within us.  This is all pessimistic views which come from within us, don’t listen to them. Whenever you hear such things, reply with yes, I can, I will and I am able to face all obstacles in the way of reaching of goal and objective. Thinking positive solves half the problem. It is said the inner motivation is the best drive one can have. So motivate yourself and reward yourself.

4. Capitalize on your Weakness:

Don’t let your weakness haunt you. Try to capitalize on you weakness and invest in them. If you think you are slow in working, convert it into good thought; say I am slow in working because I am cautious, I take special care when performing my job, I am extra vigilant and I do my duty to the best of my abilities; that is why I take more time than normal employee. See this way, with a shift in the thought process; one will be able to build self- confidence and motivate oneself. Capitalizing on weakness is directly related to positive thinking. If you think bad, you will not be able to work on your weaknesses and do something good. On the other hand, with little effort, you can be a star.

5. Building Relations with Positive people:

The role of the people you meet determines your success in life and your personal and professional grooming. Family, friends, acquaintance and relatives; all play either a positive or negative role in our lives. Thus it is up to you, where do you want to lead? If you want to get more, live happy and gain self- confidence, you will like to live close to those people who play a positive role in your life. You will love the company of all those who are always there to appreciate you and motivate you. On the other hand, all those people who always find faulty in you and your work shall be avoided by you. You will try not to meet such people who play negative role in your life and are jealous of your success. So reach such people who are positive, happy in your success and help in your grooming and building self- confidence.

6. Don’t live in your past, rather learn from it:

How to gain confidence makes us explore our true potential. Past is gone and those who live in past are also never successful. When people question how to gain self-confidence, one should remember past, is to learn from, to gain from and to make them better. Past is a lesson and if you keep thinking about your previous failures, you will not be able to think forward. Trust today, think about tomorrow and make your plans. Don’t completely forget your past, just ignore all the negativity and take all your previous failures as a chance to do better in coming days. Past is a lesson and it helps you in gaining self- confidence for future endeavors.

7. Don’t underestimate yourself:

Never ever underestimate yourself; rather give yourself a credit every now and then. Again the concept of positive thinking comes here. Taking pride in oneself, celebrating success, acknowledging accomplishment, rewarding you; these are smaller ways to gain self- confidence.

8. Smile at Yourself:

It may seem weird to some people but facing mirror and smile at oneself is the excellent way of building self-confidence. Trust me, when I am happy on my success’ I look at the mirror and smile at myself, rather at times even laugh. The feeling gives me happiness and my shoulders are lifted, I take pride in myself.
How to gain self confidence is not difficult. It is all about our inner being; if we are happy from inside, we are the happiest person on this planet. But if our inner self is sad, no happiness of the world can make us happy. So believe in yourself and be happy!

Microsoft launched its Office 2016 Preview

Microsoft launched the Office 2016 Preview, and with it came a couple of new features. These include stronger improved data analysis in Excel, flexible deployment for admins, added security features, and more. Today, we take a look at a more pressing feature though – the collaborative editing.
In today's world, many group projects are done with some form of collaborative editing, where multiple users edit a single document all at the same time. There are a handful of collaborative editing tools available today, with Google Docs setting the standard.
Of course, it is widely known that Google Docs is great for editing text or simple spreadsheets in groups, but formatting in Google Docs is still a bit dodgy, so most groups will find themselves simply working on the raw text in there, and when it is done, having one member of the group move the content to a better text editor for the final makeup.
Because of formatting problems, when Microsoft announced collaborative editing in Word we were quite excited, because this may just make it the ultimate go-to text editor for group work, taking the throne from Google.
So, I fired up the Office 2016 Preview installation, which went smooth as butter. The only hitch I experienced on the way was that the "Terms & Conditions" dialogue that you're supposed to read through was empty. Delightfully, I pressed accept for no conditions at all, and got to work.
To use the collaborative editing feature, you must use Microsoft's OneDrive. I had never used OneDrive before, but signing into my Microsoft account and setting it up was a snap, as was saving a document to it.
This is where things started to take a turn, however. I installed the suite on a second PC too, and signed in with another Microsoft account, but while sharing the document was fairly easy, when I edited the document on the second PC no changes showed up on the first. I hit CTRL-S to save the document, and still no changes showed up, but I did get a pop-up dialogue telling me that "When you save, Word updates your document with the changes made by others."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that isn't the real-time editing we were promised.
Fortunately, the Web editor does work the way it is meant to. Between two different web editors working on the same document, changes do show up in real-time, albeit with a notable delay. This delay isn't game-breaking, but it is enough to put me off from using the Web editor, too. Naturally, to see anything that's been typed in through the Web editor, users on the desktop application will have to save their document to see the changes.
Due to these flaws, at this very moment, I simply cannot recommend using Word in the Microsoft Office 2016 Preview for collaborative editing. The experience is too broken and unrefined, and will likely cause more headaches than it is worth.
However, let's look at it in another way: This is still a Preview application, and therefore not representative of the final product. All we can hope for is that the way it works now isn't the way that Microsoft has intended for the collaborative editor to work, and that the current version is simply a makeshift fix in order to have a working prototype out in time for this Preview package.
What will it take to make us happy with the collaborative editing feature in Microsoft Word? A simple setup (check), easy sharing (check), along with real-time editing between the Web editor and the desktop application as snappy as it works in Google Docs, without sacrificing any of Word's compelling features. In short, I just want to use the feature, without having to think about how to use it.

Windows 10 may be Microsoft’s last version of the OS

Microsoft Windows 10
Windows 10 will be the last major version of Microsoft's long-running operating system.

Jerry Nixon, a Microsoft development executive, said at the company's Ignite conference this week that Windows 10 will be the "last version" of the dominant desktop software.

Instead of new standalone versions, Windows 10 will be improved in regular installments, Microsoft said.

Nixon’s comments were echoed by Microsoft in a statement that said it will offer updates for the operating system in future in an "ongoing manner". Instead of new standalone versions, Windows 10 will be improved in “incremental updates”.

Microsoft said in the statement that Nixon's comments reflected a change in its approach to making its software.

"Windows will be delivered as a service bringing new innovations and updates in an ongoing manner," it said, adding that it expects there will be a "long future" for Windows.

"Right now we're releasing Windows 10, and because Windows 10 is the last version of Windows, we're all still working on Windows 10," Nixon said at the conference, explaining how Microsoft launched Windows 8.1 last year while quietly developing Windows 10 in the background.

Now, Microsoft employees can talk freely about future updates to Windows 10 because there's no secret update coming next year.

While it may sound as if Microsoft is killing off its lucrative operating system and not developing future versions, in reality this is part of Microsoft's big effort to rebrand Windows as a service, instead of a product.

Windows 10 is expected to hit the markets later this year. Different versions of the operating system will be launched for multiple devices, including PCs, mobiles, tablets, Xbox One and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi 2.

10 reasons why PCs crash you must Know

Fatal error: the system has become unstable or is busy," it says. "Enter to return to Windows or press Control-Alt-Delete to restart your computer. If you do this you will lose any unsaved information in all open applications."

You have just been struck by the Blue Screen of Death. Anyone who uses Mcft Windows will be familiar with this. What can you do? More importantly, how can you prevent it happening?

1 Hardware conflict
The number one reason why Windows crashes is hardware conflict. Each hardware device communicates to other devices through an interrupt request channel (IRQ). These are supposed to be unique for each device.

For example, a printer usually connects internally on IRQ 7. The keyboard usually uses IRQ 1 and the floppy disk drive IRQ 6. Each device will try to hog a single IRQ for itself.

If there are a lot of devices, or if they are not installed properly, two of them may end up sharing the same IRQ number. When the user tries to use both devices at the same time, a crash can happen. The way to check if your computer has a hardware conflict is through the following route:

* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Device Manager

Often if a device has a problem a yellow '!' appears next to its description in the Device Manager. Highlight Computer (in the Device Manager) and press Properties to see the IRQ numbers used by your computer. If the IRQ number appears twice, two devices may be using it.

Sometimes a device might share an IRQ with something described as 'IRQ holder for PCI steering'. This can be ignored. The best way to fix this problem is to remove the problem device and reinstall it.

Sometimes you may have to find more recent drivers on the internet to make the device function properly. A good resource is www.driverguide.com. If the device is a soundcard, or a modem, it can often be fixed by moving it to a different slot on the motherboard (be careful about opening your computer, as you may void the warranty).
When working inside a computer you should switch it off, unplug the mains lead and touch an unpainted metal surface to discharge any static electricity.

To be fair to Mcft, the problem with IRQ numbers is not of its making. It is a legacy problem going back to the first PC designs using the IBM 8086 chip. Initially there were only eight IRQs. Today there are 16 IRQs in a PC. It is easy to run out of them. There are plans to increase the number of IRQs in future designs.

2 Bad Ram
Ram (random-access memory) problems might bring on the blue screen of death with a message saying Fatal Exception Error. A fatal error indicates a serious hardware problem. Sometimes it may mean a part is damaged and will need replacing.

But a fatal error caused by Ram might be caused by a mismatch of chips. For example, mixing 70-nanosecond (70ns) Ram with 60ns Ram will usually force the computer to run all the Ram at the slower speed. This will often crash the machine if the Ram is overworked.

One way around this problem is to enter the BIOS settings and increase the wait state of the Ram. This can make it more stable. Another way to troubleshoot a suspected Ram problem is to rearrange the Ram chips on the motherboard, or take some of them out. Then try to repeat the circumstances that caused the crash. When handling Ram try not to touch the gold connections, as they can be easily damaged.

Parity error messages also refer to Ram. Modern Ram chips are either parity (ECC) or non parity (non-ECC). It is best not to mix the two types, as this can be a cause of trouble.

EMM386 error messages refer to memory problems but may not be connected to bad Ram. This may be due to free memory problems often linked to old Dos-based programs.

3 BIOS settings
Every motherboard is supplied with a range of chipset settings that are decided in the factory. A common way to access these settings is to press the F2 or delete button during the first few seconds of a boot-up.

Once inside the BIOS, great care should be taken. It is a good idea to write down on a piece of paper all the settings that appear on the screen. That way, if you change something and the computer becomes more unstable, you will know what settings to revert to.

A common BIOS error concerns the CAS latency. This refers to the Ram. Older EDO (extended data out) Ram has a CAS latency of 3. Newer SD Ram has a CAS latency of
2. Setting the wrong figure can cause the Ram to lock up and freeze the computer's display.

Mcft Windows is better at allocating IRQ numbers than any BIOS. If possible set the IRQ numbers to Auto in the BIOS. This will allow Windows to allocate the IRQ numbers (make sure the BIOS setting for Plug and Play OS is switched to 'yes' to allow Windows to do this.).

4 Hard disk drives
After a few weeks, the information on a hard disk drive starts to become piecemeal or fragmented. It is a good idea to defragment the hard disk every week or so, to prevent the disk from causing a screen freeze. Go to

* Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Defragmenter

This will start the procedure. You will be unable to write data to the hard drive (to save it) while the disk is defragmenting, so it is a good idea to schedule the procedure for a period of inactivity using the Task Scheduler.

The Task Scheduler should be one of the small icons on the bottom right of the Windows opening page (the desktop).
Some lockups and screen freezes caused by hard disk problems can be solved by reducing the read-ahead optimization. This can be adjusted by going to

* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System Icon-Performance-File System-Hard Disk

Hard disks will slow down and crash if they are too full. Do some housekeeping on your hard drive every few months and free some space on it. Open the Windows folder on the C drive and find the Temporary Internet Files folder. Deleting the contents (not the folder) can free a lot of space.

Empty the Recycle Bin every week to free more space. Hard disk drives should be scanned every week for errors or bad sectors. Go to

* Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Scan Disk

Otherwise assign the Task Scheduler to perform this operation at night when the computer is not in use.

5 Fatal OE exceptions and VXD errors
Fatal OE exception errors and VXD errors are often caused by video card problems.
These can often be resolved easily by reducing the resolution of the video display. Go to

* Start-Settings-Control Panel-Display-Settings

Here you should slide the screen area bar to the left. Take a look at the color settings on the left of that window. For most desktops, high color 16-bit depth is adequate.
If the screen freezes or you experience system lockups it might be due to the video card. Make sure it does not have a hardware conflict. Go to

* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Device Manager

Here, select the + beside Display Adapter. A line of text describing your video card should appear. Select it (make it blue) and press properties. Then select Resources and select each line in the window. Look for a message that says No Conflicts.
If you have video card hardware conflict, you will see it here. Be careful at this point and make a note of everything you do in case you make things worse.

The way to resolve a hardware conflict is to uncheck the Use Automatic Settings box and hit the Change Settings button. You are searching for a setting that will display a No Conflicts message.
Another useful way to resolve video problems is to go to

* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Performance-Graphics

Here you should move the Hardware Acceleration slider to the left. As ever, the most common cause of problems relating to graphics cards is old or faulty drivers (a driver is a small piece of software used by a computer to communicate with a device).
Look up your video card's manufacturer on the internet and search for the most recent drivers for it.

6 Viruses
Often the first sign of a virus infection is instability. Some viruses erase the boot sector of a hard drive, making it impossible to start. This is why it is a good idea to create a Windows start-up disk. Go to

* Start-Settings-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs

Here, look for the Start Up Disk tab. Virus protection requires constant vigilance.
A virus scanner requires a list of virus signatures in order to be able to identify viruses. These signatures are stored in a DAT file. DAT files should be updated weekly from the website of your antivirus software manufacturer.

7 Printers
The action of sending a document to print creates a bigger file, often called a postscript file.

Printers have only a small amount of memory, called a buffer. This can be easily overloaded. Printing a document also uses a considerable amount of CPU power. This will also slow down the computer's performance.

If the printer is trying to print unusual characters, these might not be recognized, and can crash the computer. Sometimes printers will not recover from a crash because of confusion in the buffer. A good way to clear the buffer is to unplug the printer for ten seconds. Booting up from a powerless state, also called a cold boot, will restore the printer's default settings and you may be able to carry on.

8 Software
A common cause of computer crash is faulty or badly-installed software. Often the problem can be cured by uninstalling the software and then reinstalling it. Use Norton Uninstall or Uninstall Shield to remove an application from your system properly. This will also remove references to the programme in the System Registry and leaves the way clear for a completely fresh copy.

The System Registry can be corrupted by old references to obsolete software that you thought was uninstalled. Use Reg Cleaner by Jouni Vuorio to clean up the System Registry and remove obsolete entries. It works on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE (Second Edition), Windows Millennium Edition (ME), NT4 and Windows 2000.

Read the instructions and use it carefully so you don't do permanent damage to the Registry. If the Registry is damaged you will have to reinstall your operating system. Reg Cleaner can be obtained from www.jv16.org

Often a Windows problem can be resolved by entering Safe Mode. This can be done during start-up. When you see the message "Starting Windows" press F4. This should take you into Safe Mode.

Safe Mode loads a minimum of drivers. It allows you to find and fix problems that prevent Windows from loading properly.
Sometimes installing Windows is difficult because of unsuitable BIOS settings. If you keep getting SUWIN error messages (Windows setup) during the Windows installation, then try entering the BIOS and disabling the CPU internal cache. Try to disable the Level 2 (L2) cache if that doesn't work.

Remember to restore all the BIOS settings back to their former settings following installation.

9 Overheating
Central processing units (CPUs) are usually equipped with fans to keep them cool. If the fan fails or if the CPU gets old it may start to overheat and generate a particular kind of error called a kernel error. This is a common problem in chips that have been overclocked to operate at higher speeds than they are supposed to.

One remedy is to get a bigger better fan and install it on top of the CPU. Specialist cooling fans/heat sinks are available from www.computernerd.com or www.coolit.com
CPU problems can often be fixed by disabling the CPU internal cache in the BIOS. This will make the machine run more slowly, but it should also be more stable.

10 Power supply problems
With all the new construction going on around the country the steady supply of electricity has become disrupted. A power surge or spike can crash a computer as easily as a power cut.

If this has become a nuisance for you then consider buying a uninterrupted power supply (UPS). This will give you a clean power supply when there is electricity, and it will give you a few minutes to perform a controlled shutdown in case of a power cut.
It is a good investment if your data are critical, because a power cut will cause any unsaved data to be lost.

10 Human Brain Analysis – Men vs. Women

1. MULTI-TASKING
Women – Multiple process
Women's brains designed to concentrate multiple task at a time.
Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook.
Men – Single Process
Men's brains designed to concentrate only one work at a time. Men can not watch TV and talk over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV while Talking. They can either watch TV or talk over the phone or cook.
2. LANGUAGE
Women can easily learn many languages. But can not find solutions to problems. Men can not easily learn languages, they can easily solve problems. That’s why in average a 3 years old girl has three times higher vocabulary than a 3 years old boy.
3. ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Men's brains has a lot of space for handling the analytical process. They can analyze and find the solution for a process and design a map of a building easily. But If a complex map is viewed by women, they can not understand it. Women can not understand the details of a map easily, For them it is just a dump of lines on a paper.
4. CAR DRIVING.
While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fastly. If he sees an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and he drives accordingly. Where woman take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. Mans single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrates only on driving.
5. LYING
When men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Woman's super natural brain observes facial expression 70%, body language 20% and words coming from the mouth 10%. Men's brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face.
So guys, do not lie face to face.
6. PROBLEMS SOLVING
If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and puts them in individual rooms in the brain and then finds the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has a lot of problems, her brain can not classify the problems. she wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problems being solved or not.
7. WHAT THEY WANT
Men want status, success, solutions, big process, etc… But Women want relationship, friends, family, etc.
8. UNHAPPINESS
If women are unhappy with their relations, they can not concentrate on their work. If men are unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate on the relations.
9. SPEECH
Women use indirect language in speech. But Men use direct language
10. HANDLING EMOTION

Eyefi's Wi-Fi-enabled SD cards just got even more convenient

Eyefi just released a new Wi-Fi-enabled SD card called the Mobi Pro. As with other Eyefi cards, the Mobi Pro is a great choice for anyone who needs a way to transfer photos to their PC without wires or the hassle of an SD card reader. Eyefi’s latest addition offers 32GB of onboard storage at class 10 speeds , along with a few clamored-for niceties for photographers on the go.
The new card offers RAW file transfers—an important feature that we’ve seen before but doesn’t come on all Eyefi cards. The new Mobi Pro can also connect to a local Wi-Fi network as opposed to only supporting device-to-device connections.
The final big feature for the Mobi Pro is the ability to selectively sync photos to your PC or mobile phone. Previously, Eyefi cards allowed you to sync everything at once or nothing at all.
The downside of the new Eyefi selective sync is that it’s a serious hack. Any photos you want to single out for sync first have to be marked as write protected on your digital camera. Depending on your camera’s UI, that could be a real pain.
The impact on you at home: The new Mobi Pro is available now for $100, which is a pretty expensive price for 32GB of SD storage. It’s for an extremely fancy SD card of course, and also includes a year’s subscription to Eyefi Cloud—the company’s $50 per year cloud storage service. The Eyefi isn’t an ideal choice for everyone, but if your PC lacks an SD card reader or you want to view your photos on a laptop or tablet while in the field, these cards can come in handy.
